Broken Bar S has been in the running quarter horses business for 20 yrs. Breeding, racing, and running top quality horses. Our foundation hasd been based around the great stakes producing mare "Flying Tava". An own daughter of Special Effort; she is 100% winning producer with the exception of one colt due to injury. A multiple stakes producer of "Wranglers and Ropers" SI 99 NTR. Earning of over $40,000; "Expressions in Stone" SI 91 with earnings of nearly $20,000. Stakes qualifier "Whiskey Wine N Women" with SI 90 earnings of nearly $11,000. Superior Race horse "Lousiana Loafer" SI 103; earnings of over $75,000. A 100% ROM producer with the exception of the one colt due to injury.
"Expressions in Stone" will be a 2009 addition to the Broken Bar S broodmare ban. Being bred to "SM Country Snowman" (APHA).
"Flying Tava" will have a 2009 foal by "First Smart Money" and will be bred back to "Identity Theft" for 2010.
At Broken Bar S we pride ourselves in the quality of our stock whether it be quarter horses or now our miniature australian shepherds. Therefore, we are only a small hobby farm and never have or never will be a large breeder. We have always prided ourselves in the quality of our stock not the quantity that we can flood the market with. We have only been in the aussie business for about 3 yrs; but are showing some of our dogs and have plans to start some in dog trials. We are always open for questions, comments, and suggestions; or just to visit.
